Introduction:

Life Centre for Creativity and Culture (L.C.C.C) is a liberal centre caring with the publication of liberal thought in all fields “literary, cultural, artistic, social and political

 
The centre seeks to achieve:

1- The establishment and management of a number of encounters between youth aiming at describing the values and principles of the liberal movement and to achieve an understanding around this description, and to correct what could be wrong perceptions about liberalism.

2- Conduct educational sessions and preparing clarifying documents for liberal activists, highlighting to them their rights as citizens, including their right to free expression and opposition and also to clarify the meaning of manifestations, strikes, picketing, and civil disobedience. Also to create awareness about the ways of opposition in a way that serves the opponents and to give a clear legal point of view on the different ways of expression and opposition by working towards limiting the acts of violence between the opponents and the security forces and to propagate the culture of peaceful change among the youth.

3- Conduct and moderate cultural camps and workshops and discussion groups as well as artistic festivals and exhibitions and showing documentary movies and publications and conduct sport competitions with the aim to propagate and explain the understanding of citizen’s rights and identity and to assimilate the idea of a country or nation through rights and duties and to raise the level allegiance to the country within the youth, in addition to the education around the art of discussion and debating and the tolerance of a different point of view and to the cultural diversity.

4- Conduct workshops and discussion groups and educational lectures and organize field researches in order to revive the reading of the history of Egypt and to revive Egypt’s literary and artistic heritage, hoping to encourage the youth to learn from historical events and realities.

5- Support cultural manifestations which celebrate the different contributions from different eras which helped shape Egypt’s heritage and folklore, and which helped create Egyptian customs and habits. To support such actions aiming at the revival of the biographies of Egyptian giants of politics, economy, military, industrialists, professionals, scholars, artists or sportspeople.

6- Establish libraries and venues for showing documentaries, and discuss literary and artistic work and to supply such libraries and venues with the cultural, artistic, historical and scientific product of Egypt and of the world at large in the different fields which serve humanity in reaching the culture which takes as basis, the principle of Peace, understanding and continuity between civilizations as well as the tolerance for what is different.

7- Conduct workshops and discussion sessions aiming at explaining to the citizens the different political ideologies in the modern world, be it National , leftist, liberal or other and to explain the priorities of each ideology towards the economical, social and cultural development and in other essential behaviours like the empowerment of the under privileged and the opposition of differentiation and the violation of the security and the rights of mankind.

8- Conduct and moderate and participate in national campaigns against violence against women and children and against minorities by coordinating with other NGOs working in the field of human rights as well as with Governmental institutions responsible for the security of the citizens.

 

Objectives:

1- Creating a group of youth has the ability to express their idea about the values of freedom and human rights, by using a new independent media tools

2- Helping the activists, who are talented in making the independent media to get the training and the technical support in order to convert their ideas about concepts of liberalism into products, which will be technically supported, and giving them the chance to play their products.
