In order to decrease the differences and gabs between East and West youth I believe it can be achieved through mutual dialogue face to face between the youth and their peers from other countries. It is important to encourage youth participation and confirm strength in youth by showing successful stories of projects run by young people.
I have been involved with the youth work since I was 14 years old. I started as a volunteer with the International Palestinian youth league and through IPYL I participated in many international and local trainings, seminars and conferences on Youth issues. Later I was chosen as representative of Palestine in the Euro-Med Youth platform based in Malta. Then I joined the United Network of Young peacebuilders in the Netherlands. I got really attracted and motivated to continue working in the youth field an after a long involvement with different European and International organizations I joined the League of Arab States youth forum and there where I first learn about the MDGs as it was the theme of their first forum that took place In Egypt. Then I joined the Anna Lindh foundation as an active blogger in the Euro-Med youth bloggers.
