I´m Luis Camilo Caicedo López,  from Bogotá, Colombia and now I'm 23 years old. I'm industrial engineer from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. Actually I'm doing my master degree about organizational management-Industrial  Engineering in Universidad de los Andes.

While I'm studying, I work as a research assistant in Ingenieros Sin Fronteras Colombia. This is a project that promotes the applied engineering to development of vulnerable communities in Colombia. Now the research lines are water, energy and inclusive business. This project involves students(undergraduate, master and doctoral) and teachers from Universidad de los Andes and Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios. The team are from civil, environmental, mechanic, systems, industrial, chemistry, electric and electronic engineering of both universities. Also the team has support from social workers and anthropologist.

In Ingenieros sin Fronteras I have been distinguish by my leadership, committed, entrepreneurship and research skills. As an honor, I promoted and presented the winner proposal project in Eco-Challenge 2010(TIC Americas - PepsiCo). This award gives me recognition in front of many companies and international organization. Actually the project is developing and I’m a leader of it. The project uses a particular filter technology that improves water quality. Also I promote relationships with private companies and other national and international universities.
